I've been working as an Energy Work Practitioner for about 10 years now, helping clients assess and balance their energies to relieve physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual symptoms.  I see, hear, feel, sense, and know intuitively, which has given me access to many dimensions and realms of experience.  I'm starting this blog to share what I've learned over the years for anyone interested in the metaphysical and paranormal. 

Developing intuition is a process, and does not happen overnight.  As you begin to signal your intent to the universe to access and utilize your natural intuitive abilities, a few different things will happen. 

Clairsentience means intuitively receiving information which then gets translated into a feeling or physical sensation.  There are four wonderful beings who make every clairsentient intuition possible - your communicator spirit guide, your targeting spirit guide, your conduit spirit guide, and your attunement spirit guide.  

The first and most important question to address when reaching out intuitively is who are you talking to?  A guide? Someone who passed that you know? An expert in what you are looking to find out?  You wouldn't ask somebody walking down the street for expert info on your life. Be specific.  There are many types of beings with whom you can communicate - angels, spirit guides, ascended masters, gatekeepers, Source, dwellers of the astral plane, ghosts, and deceased loved ones, to name a few.  

Clairaudience means clear hearing and refers to receiving intuitive information as words or sound.  Basically, it means hearing voices.  This was a hard one for me.  I grew up with two psychiatrists as parents, so hearing voices was unequivocally bad and could land you straight in the psych ward.  For a long time as I developed my clairaudient abilities, I would question whether I was losing my mind, going crazy, and having auditory hallucinations. 

Your spirit guides are like very good friends who know you extremely well, know your strengths and weaknesses, know your tendencies to make mistakes, know your hopes and dreams and love you without judgment.  Imagine that your friends could look into the future and see the different pitfalls that certain decisions could bring.

What exactly are spirit guides?  I refer to this term a lot in my writings, and I thought it was time to give these wonderful beings their own blog entry.  Spirit guides are spirits, energies emanating from Source, individuations of the whole residing in one of the nonphysical planes of existence.  

What is Source?  Source is the Essence from which everything springs forth.  It is the place of oneness inside every living being.  It is God.  Source creates, and then creates more, in a never-ending cycle of birth, death, and rebirth.  Source created the universe, the laws of physics, and all of the different dimensions of existence.

Clairvoyance means clear seeing, or intuitively seeing images.  These can be in the form of pictures in your mind, or it can be seeing energies in the real world, like seeing other people's energy systems.  This one can really be a stretch for a lot of people.  I get it - the idea of seeing imaginary energies swirling around people sounds pretty far-fetched.  I used to feel the exact same way.
